We’re looking for a skilled Technical Manager to lead our growing development team. Are you in search of a challenge with a lot of responsibility? Do you want to work on unique, innovative products developed with state-of-the-art technology? Then this position is for you!

Since 2012 our software, articy:draft, is being used in studios across the globe to create narrative content for videogames, serious games, and e-learning applications. With our next product, we want to use our knowledge from 7 years in the market to raise the bar for the creation of interactive content even higher and establish an industry-wide standard tool.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and actively monitor the technical project roadmap in close collaboration with our CPO and CTO
  • Coordinate all development activities
  • Be responsible for requirements engineering and risk management
  • Analyze and improve development processes continuously
  • Conduct regular status and review meetings

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in leading development teams
  • Experience in the development of complex software products
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Solid technical / programming knowledge
  • Passion for new technological trends
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

CONSIDERED A PLUS:

  • Profound working knowledge in C# and JavaScript
  • Fluent in spoken and written German

  • Create the backend of a complex desktop application
  • Create robust, reliable and efficient C# code
  • Create prototypes independently
  • Develop complete features based on detailed design
  • Work together with the UI/UX designers and the frontend team

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have solid knowledge of C#
  • You are familiar with client / server architectures
  • You possess good communication skills

You’ll be joining a small, passionate team that cares deeply about a collaborative environment and human-centered design.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Write production-ready HTML and CSS to create a top-notch User Interface
  • Collaborate with our front-end developers to build new UI components and enhance existing ones
  • Work together with our designers to turn mock-ups into code
  • Be responsible for expanding and maintaining our internal CSS framework
  • Implement micro-interactions and transitions

YOUR ROLE:

  • Create visually appealing custom controls

  • You have solid knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js
